There are different approaches when it comes to jack russell training. The most common is the use of positive reinforcements such as treats, toys and praise. Consistent.

Chewing is common among dogs. They do not chew to purposely destroy your belongings because they are angry or spiteful. A dog’s mouth is actually not just for eating or destroying things only. It is best if you have a younger adult cat, already established in the house. Introduce the puppy as early as possible – at 3-4 weeks of age. This will allow the puppy to somewhat imprint on the cat and establish the relationship of friend rather than adversary. Jack Russell training can help your puppy to accept the cat as a member of the “pack”. If the cat does not accept the puppy quickly however you may likely never get the two to get along.
