How Can We Eliminate General Anxiety?

When we suffer an anxiety attack, it is common to feel in some cases, like you may be having a heart attack. Why is this?

It is because of the Body’s Fight or Flight Response.

When we are threatened, weather it be accurate, or just perceived, the bosy goes into a ‘protective’ mode, where it is trying to protect us from harm.

In the case of blood, it will take blood away from the outer peripheries of the body, and concentrate it around the thighs, and the main, internal organs, to protect them, as well as lessen the potential loss of blood if we are physically attacked.

This is the reason many anxiety sufferers indicate they feel they have pins and needles, as well as clammy skin, during an episode of anxiety.

Nturally, if you have this occuring regularly, and are in any way concerned about the possibilioty of a heart related issue, it is a good idea to get checked out.

At best, you will be told it is related to an anxiety attack, and your heart is fine. It can be a bonus just for assurance to have your heart checked out regularly anyway.

So, where to from Here?

For just about everyone who suffers from anxiety, I recommend the techniques of understanding that we need to go with the flow, rather than trying to fight it This is how nature works, and we, as humans, can learn much from nature.

Bur, you want to solve your problem, not learn about nature.

So, let’s head to it.

You Are Always Worried, and Feeling Under Stress

When I talk about general anxiety, I am referring to that feeling you have when you wake yp, where you know you are not deeply at ease. You know that there are things, worries bothering you, and you wonder if you will ever be fre of them.

Your heart becomes heavy, and sometimes, seems like the whole day is overcome with this feeling of heaviness.

In time, you find it more and more difficult to enjoy life, as you are constantly worried about all these issues in your life regarding your worry.

How Can I Move Past this Constant Fear and Worry?

For a start, you are going to need to sleep well. However, if you are either in physical pain, or worried, your sleep is affected. Many people with general anxiety report that their sleep is less than sound.

To best achieve this, we need to work on restoring a state of ease, and calm, all more easily said than done, Iknow.

However, this is like an electrical circuit, and we need to break the circuit, or cut the loop toi get ourselves on the track to being happy, content and calm- or put in a way I love, at peace.

Put another way, this is about creating an induced calm, to bring you back to a ‘normalised’ level of stress and anxiety for the general population, which might sit at around a two or three out of ten.

It is imperative to learn tho create a sense of ease, as we will, quite literally, do ourselves harm, through disease, and other medical complicatiokns, as the body does react to these external issues.

Thew way we perceive and control our selves is vital, in our over all managemenbt.

I will be writing tomorrow on techniques to work to induce the states of calm into our lives.
