This may seem quite a big title, but after some thought, decided this is an important issue that needs to be discussed in the open arena, and where better than on my blog on reducing panic attacks.

I am well aware that most times, it is not as simple as just saying, ‘do this or take that’. It is all about conquering the feelings of helplessness or the feelings of looming depression and a deep gut induced fear or dread.

 

Take Action Stop Procrastination

 

It is clear in my mind, after seeing this video that much of the issues relating to reducing panic and anxiety are about taking a determined action.

 

I really felt that the suggestion that ‘winners have simply formed the habit of doing things losers don’t like to do’ to be very powerful.

 

I rely heavily on the point of visualisation and feeling, in my mind’s eye, that things are as I wish them to be.  Putting this another way, I am using the law of attraction in my life to start beleiving and then living the life of ‘ as if’ I have the things that I want. In the context of reducing panic, I am talking about imagining myself as successful in the areas where I was at first, scared to go. Let’s use the example of a crowded supermarket.

 

I imagine myself driving t the supermarket complex, and entering the carpark and finding a space, where there are still some empty spaces near by and it is easy for me to park my car, as well as then walk into the complex.

 

I imagine it is quite early in the morning, and that there are few people about, and I am walking with confidence and poise in tot eh large mall and find the supermarket I wish to be in, with ease and in record time.

 

I also am breathing easily and in control of my self and my immediate surroundings.

 

I enter the supermarket and am able to calmly wheel my trolley through the various isles and complete my entire shopping list of items.

 

I am able to find a clear checkout area and the operator quickly scans my items and after I have had a quick discussion about my day and wished the cashier well, am on my way to the car.

 

I get home, unpack my things and feel wonderful.

 

Now, what does this all have to do with procrastination?

 

Everything.

 

I say this as I have found that in my case, after reading this short 20 page ebook, I plucked up the courage to do the things I have been putting off, was scared about doing and every other reason in the world that I could think of.

 

 

I took control and got on wth things.
